It all started with a passion.
My name is Temoe Poignant. I was born in Challans, Vendée, and grew up in Pornic, in the Loire-Atlantique region of France.
My story began when I was 17, with one passion: motorcycles. I spent most of my time riding and working on bikes with my friends, always trying to make them look better and perform even better. I also spent a lot of time taking photos and videos of everything with my phone.
One day, I borrowed my mother's old Nikon D3100 to try taking higher-quality pictures. I absolutely loved it, and that's when I started photographing my friends' motorcycles as well as my own, before sharing those photos on Instagram.
I decided to leave school before sitting my baccalaureate so I could start working and earn my own money. That's what allowed me to invest in my first camera, the Sony A7 IV. It was with that camera that I discovered video, and I fell in love with it. I sold my motorcycle to invest in more gear and practise making videos, alongside my job, for people who owned beautiful cars and motorcycles. I taught myself everything, I met the right people, and over time I built a real network in my region and my town.
